Fermata Jan 28, 2022: Restfulness is Contagious
Fermata is the weekly newsletter describing some of the past week’s highlights from Notes of Rest, which is my spiritual retreat ministry that interweaves text, music, and questions for the sake of cultivating stillness, introspection, and creativity in communities so that all may rest. I'd love to host a Notes of Rest for your church, seminary, or affinity group. Feel free to reply to this email to start the conversation!
Recap: Exciting News about Notes of Rest at Duke and Grace Farms
Hi everyone,
I have a bunch of exciting Notes of Rest sessions coming up, including one tonight for a small group based in Vancouver and tomorrow for the Northern Illinois Conference of the UMC. I also will be lecturing on and hosting Notes of Rest at Duke Divinity School at the end of next month and will be hosting a session at Grace Farms in March. I'm excited to share these updates because the message and platform of Notes of Rest is extending past the US border and past even the four walls of the church! May all who have ears to hear, hear!
In other news, the next installment in the Rest Assured Devotional Series is set to come out by early next week. You can read the entire series here.
May The Lord of Rest grant us it today, for salvation has come and is coming.
abundantly,
Julian
