This really touched something in me. I first read this post last week and Im still thinking of the ways it resonates inside of my self. But I really felt for you! Perhaps because I could relate. And I think it's inspiring how you moved through this and even went on to integrate musical performances into a corporate setting, playing at a law firm (the recent post you wrote about this and linked to this post, in case somebody is reading this and doesn't know). Best wishes and many blessings :) Thanks for sharing something so honest and vulnerable.

Noah thank you for sharing and for receiving my honesty. It is a gift to be able to share from real places in this space. It helps bring me rest. I pray it does the same for you too.

Julian, I am reminded of one of the lessons I learned from you from Bible study at Lourdes. People attack that which they don't understand. Also, like your earlier post about the log in our eye and the responsibility to look inside first, I wonder what was so threatening that generated a lack of kindness. I wonder if it is because we are so concerned with power, money, and pleasure, that we forget the value of service and vulnerability and creativity. I'm sorry that you were hurt. I am grateful for your testimony. Thank you!

Your story about the comments from pastors broke me up. I am praying for your healing. and so very grieved to hear that you were on the receiving end of these thoughtless words. May their awareness be heightened. I thank God for your incredible witness!

I appreciate your honesty in sharing your journey. I’ve experienced similar comments from pastors I’ve tried to help and support. I’m encouraged by people like you, who creatively follow what God is doing to serve and minister to others! Keep it up! Alan has nothing but positive things to say about you and your work.

Ignorant assholes aside, sounds like you were blessed back home. Here's some links you might find useful to your inspired vision of a corporate dream journal:

In other words, of course there is value in collecting and tracking dreams. As you alluded, the wisdom and assurance of our inklings that comes to us in dreams is bountiful, the only snag being our unwillingness at times to trust them.

It's a great idea. Keep expanding it, I say. Good luck!
